Administrative and Technical Services Assistant

The Terryville Public Library seeks a resourceful and detail-oriented full-time administrative and technical services assistant to perform accounting and library tasks including maintaining accurate accounts receivables, accounts payables, and payroll records, acquisitions of library materials, classification and processing. Responsibilities also include: customer service at circulation desk, general patron assistance, monthly newsletter, and coordination with departments to maintain logical processing functions.

Requirements: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to accurately and proficiently maintain records, inventory and billing systems, a working knowledge of MC Office, PC’s and other office equipment, and the ability to learn software programs specific to the job. Two years of college with appropriate bookkeeping experience and training preferred. Salary: $21.06/hour plus benefits, 35 hours per week with evening and occasional Saturday shifts.
