3D Printing for Newbies

April 1 @ 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm

Free

Is the idea of 3D Printing like something out of Star Trek to you?  You’re not alone.  While this technology has been available since the 1980’s, it’s only become attainable for the average person in the last decade or so.  Come learn more about this technology, how it’s being used in the world currently, observe one of our printers in use, and learn how YOU can use the Library’s Prusa 3D printers for free!

This program will run about 45 minutes.  Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to register for a future 3D printing session and create or select your first design for printing.

We are grateful for the generous support of the Terryville Public Library Board of Trustees in our CreationStation Makerspace.
