Basic Computer Skills
Students will learn basic computer skills including the difference between desktops, laptops and tablets, how to turn the computer on and off, mouse movement and controls, navigational menus, and more. We will meet twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-2:30pm) for four weeks to develop digital literacy skills and increase your confidence in using technology in daily life.
To register for these classes , please call the Library at 860-583-4467 or visit the Reference Desk. You will be asked to complete an assessment to determine your present skill level and identify your individual learning path.
This program is made possible through partnership with the CT State Library. Northstar Digital Literacy helps learners build and verify basic digital skills.
