Daytime Discussion: “Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law” by Mary Roach

August 22, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Free

In August, we’ll be reading Mary Roach’s comedic “Fuzz:  When Nature Breaks the Law”.  We’ll meet on Monday, August 22 at 10:30am in the Fiction Room of the Library.  After July 25, you can pick up a copy of the book selection from the Circulation Desk or call the Library at 860-582-3121 to make arrangements for curbside pickup.  Large type and audiobook on CD are also available for this title.

You may register for this program by e-mailing gdelcegno@biblio.org.  New members always welcome.

Synopsis: “What’s to be done about a jaywalking moose? A bear caught breaking and entering? Three hundred years ago, animals that broke the law would be assigned legal representation and put on trial. These days … the answers are best found not in jurisprudence but in science: the curious science of human-wildlife conflict, a discipline at the crossroads of human behavior and wildlife biology.”
