Introducing the new Family Book Club. Family Book Club will meet once a month on Zoom. This program is for children in grades K-6 and their families, one book will go to each family to read together. The book club meeting will include book discussion, activities and a small snack. Materials will be available to pickup before the meeting. We will be reading A Boy Called Bat by Elana K. Arnold as our January book. Call 860-582-3121 to sign up and grab your book through curbside or to make an appointment to come inside to get it. Space is limited in this program.

A Boy Called Bat is a 2020 Nutmeg Award winner about a boy’s quest to keep a baby skunk that his veterinarian mother has recued. This funny and thoughtful story follows Bixby Alexander Tam (Bat) a young boy on the autism spectrum.
