Internet Basics
Students will learn how to navigate an internet browser, learn how to formulate search terms to produce a successful result, and differentiate between safe websites and those with possible malware or viruses. We will meet twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm-3pm) for four and a half weeks to develop digital literacy skills and increase your confidence in using technology in daily life.
To register for these classes , please call the Library at 860-583-4467 or visit the Reference Desk. You will be asked to complete an assessment to determine your present skill level and identify your individual learning path.
This program is made possible through partnership with the CT State Library. Northstar Digital Literacy helps learners build and verify basic digital skills.
