Issues & Ideas – From Farm to Fork: Food Systems in America

This month we are tackling the topic of food in America;  food systems, food security and food justice. What does it all mean? We will also explore what we eat, how that food is produced, and how our dietary choices impact our health and the health of the planet.

We will read Michael Pollan’s “In Defense of Food” Copies are available to borrow at the circulation desk. If you are interested in joining the discussion please email kweber@biblio.org. Supplemental readings and documentaries may be added to further enhance the discussion.
