Join us to witness the 2023 partial solar eclipse.   The Library will be handing out free solar eclipse glasses so that participants can safely observe this rare phenomena!    NASA notes, “During the eclipse, the sky will grow dimmer, though not as dark as during a total solar eclipse. Some animals may begin to behave as if it is dusk and the air may feel cooler.”  We expect to see 20% coverage of the sun in our region.  Eclipse-themed snacks and a galaxy slime craft will also be available.
