Online Reference Resources

There are many standard reference books available online now, so we have created a resource page to supplement our in-house reference collection. Check our Research page for these digital titles.

Library Catalogs

Use these links to find library materials.

Bibliomation ~ The Terryville Public Library is part of this consortium of over 60 Connecticut libraries.  Search here for materials in our collection and others in our consortium.

CONNECT ~ Several of our neighboring communities are part of the Library Connection consortium.  Search here for materials in their collections.

FindIT CT ~ Search FindIT CT to find materials in libraries all over Connecticut.

InterLibrary Loan (ILL)

If there is a book you are interested in that our library doesn’t have, please ask the Reference Librarian about getting the book for you from another library. We can get most books within a week to ten days. This service is made possible by the CT State Library and C-Car.  Libraries won’t lend reference materials and usually won’t lend very new books, but other books, DVDs, books on CD and music CDs are available from most libraries. Ask us and we will see if we can get what you need.
